E-mail from Mark Traversino:
"My mother wishes to thank all of her nieces and nephews and her cousins in Italy for all their kindness in sharing her 100th birthday. She was surprised and extremely happy at the cards, flowers, phone calls and gifts that were sent. She was all smiles throughout the gathering and, of course, cried at the end of the celebration. Her Hospice workers were extremely kind and, I felt, very sincere in their feelings toward my mother. I feel very fortunate that my mother is in such a wonderful assisted living home. We all should be so lucky some day. I would like to thank you all for your wonderful response in sharing my mother's 100th birthday. Incidentally, my mother painted the Eskimo picture on the wall in picture on the wall in #006. The woman in picture was her teaching assistant for 15 years."
